El Programa de Oportunidades para el Empleo a través de la Tecnología en las Américas (POETA) es una iniciativa hemisférica que provee capacitación en las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación (TICs), herramientas de capacitación laboral y educación cívica a poblaciones marginalizadas en países tanto de habla hispana como de habla inglesa. El portal cibernético de POETA Jóvenes será ampliado próximamente para incluir a los países de habla hispana en la red informática POETA Jóvenes a fin de facilitar la colaboración, la comunicación y la educación hemisférica. Adicionalmente, el portal será adaptado especialmente para otros países en sus idiomas oficiales para garantizar su inclusión efectiva a través del hemisferio.

The program, Partnership in Opportunities for Employment through Technology in the Americas is a hemispheric initiative that provides training in information and communication technologies; job readiness tools and civic education to marginalized populations in both English and Spanish speaking countries. The POETA Youth Web Portal will soon be expanded to link the Spanish-speaking countries in the POETA Youth network to facilitate collaboration, communication and education that is hemispheric. Additionally, the portal will be adapted to other countries in the network in their official language to ensure meaningful inclusion throughout the hemisphere.
